Only the introductory course "Introduction to German Law for Foreign Students and Methodology of German Law" concludes with an oral examination. In all other courses of the LLM master's degree programme a written exam has to be taken.

Preparations

You have to register for all exams before you can take them. Where and how you have to register depends on the exam you would like to take. This handout (PDF) gives you an overview.

For all exams you have to prepare, print and bring a cover sheet (PDF).

Post-exam review

After the exam has been corrected and graded, you can ask for a scanned version of the exam (PDF) to be send to you via e-mail.

Master's Thesis

In the third semester, Master students are supposed to write their Master's thesis. Please have a look at the respective information sheet for further information on formalities etc.

Please note that these formalities are only applicable if there are no specific requirements given by the supervisor.
