Faculty partnerships

The Faculty of Law at the University of Münster fosters strong, longstanding contacts with partner universities around the world. With over 100 partnership and cooperation agreements in place, the Faculty of Law belongs to an outstanding network of international institutions.

In addition to a wide range of internationalisation, research and teaching projects, the Faculty emphasises and actively cultivates academic mobility and the exchange of students and scholars. The Faculty of Law is intensively involved in the European Erasmus+ programme and coordinates numerous exchange programmes with non-European institutions of higher education.

Visiting scholars

Every semester the Faculty of Law welcomes visiting scholars from around the world who come to Münster for a teaching assignment or research visit.

For general information and many practical tips for arranging your stay, visit the website of the Welcome Centre. The team at the International Office will be happy to answer your questions regarding organisational matters.

You can also receive support from the Study Information Centre at the Faculty of Law. Please contact our Erasmus subject coordinator Mr  Diego Nunez Bosmans who can help you with any subject-related questions you might have.

 

Doctoral study with a foreign university degree

If you have earned a Law degree from a foreign university which is equivalent to the German state examination, you may apply for admission to a PhD programme in Münster and earn a doctorate in Law.
