Master of German Law (LL.M.)

International students who have earned an undergraduate Law degree in a foreign country can apply for admission to the “German Law” master’s programme at the Faculty of Law. The programme provides students with an introduction to German law (including in-depth examination of specific legal areas) and a secure understanding of its functionality and language. These insights into the German legal system and its context will enable students to independently expand their knowledge of German Law. The LLM degree serves as the basis both for doctoral study in Germany and practical work on cases related to German law.

You can find the examination regulations for the master’s degree programme, as well as our general admission regulations under the heading Regulations.
