Conference “Human Rights and Democracy – the Role of Supranational Courts”, 11–12 September 2025 at the University of Münster: 

On 11 and 12 September, the Chair will host international scholars at the University of Münster for a conference discussing the role of supranational courts in the context of human rights and democracy. The event is funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation. The conference program can be found here.

New York Times has been asked for clarification. Prof. Hailbronner is not arguing that efforts to enhance the protection of the Federal Constitutional Court are abusive, but rather supports them and calls for consideration on a case-by-case basis with respect to other measures.)
