6. Kriminologische Netzwerktagung NRW

This year's sixth Criminology Network Conference in North Rhine-Westphalia took place on March 13 and 14 at the University of Münster and was organized by the Department of Criminology. Under the title "Dangerous Childhood!? Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Young Offenders, Victims, and the Criminal Process," two days of various panels provided insights into the research of young researchers and practitioners. Each day opened with a keynote speech. On the first day, Prof. Dr. Daniel Köhler spoke on the psychological assessment of adolescents and young adults. Friday was opened by Dr. Anabel Taefi, who provided criminological insights into the current debate surrounding so-called "knife crime" and addressed the challenges facing the police. All panels featured excellent presentations followed by fruitful discussions, demonstrating that criminology is committed to researching current challenges and benefits from its interdisciplinary approach. We thank you for your great interest and the exciting exchange. You can find the program here.
