SAFE - Scientific workshop
On 06.05.2025, a scientific workshop will take place at the Chair of Criminology as part of the research project "SAFE". The research project deals with the use of firearms by the police from a criminological perspective and considers both escalation dynamics and the legal framework. Scientists and practitioners who deal with police firearm use in their research or professional context are invited to the workshop. The networking of science and practice contributes to a multi-perspective view. The core concern is the exchange of expertise in order to jointly discuss the state of knowledge and approaches to prevention.
